I believe the "tunnelling" we are talking about is when there is no firewall on the passenger side front or rear, but you are boxed in. I've seen cars that have the front and rear firewalls intact but prefer to be "boxed in" in the thingypit. They have never said this is wrong as long as the firewalls stay intact. On modifieds, you can look from the front to the back on the passenger side and see clear through the car.

yeah thats what i was talking about boxing it in like the mods, if you do that you are limited to where you can race, portsmouth does not allow that and if you live near rtr you might want to race prp on sat.

There are no plans for any Sprint Car shows at RTR. We would like to run the Sprints at the track, but safety reasons prevent us from doing so. The catch fence is not tall enough for Sprints plus there is a huge dropoff on turns 3 and 4. It would be a terrible situation if a car went out of the ballpark and over the hill in 3 and 4. We feel the catch fence is strong enough to catch a Late Model, Modified, and Bomber, but Sprints can flip so violently it would just be too big a risk. Thanks and we hope to see you out at the track this season!!!

I was reading the rules for the bomber div. and was wondering since the rules do not state any thing about max. cid. does this mean I can now run a big block engine with no limit on my cid?

Mac-Daddy, I do believe you can run a BB in these. I've heard of a few people doing it else where but, personally i'd rather stick to my SB. And since the rules do not say anything about it??? Call John, he'd tell you.
