2008 RTR Modified champion to receive a Tomahawk Chassis

COAL GROVE, OHIO-The Rocky Top Raceway is proud to announce a major partnership with Tomahawk Race Cars for the Modified division in 2008. The 2008 Rocky Top Raceway Modified points champion will receive a brand new Tomahawk chassis. For the 2008 season the Modified division will be renamed the “Tomahawk Race Car Modifieds”.
“We are very excited and thankful to have Kevin Graham and the folks at Tomahawk Race Cars on board with us for 2008”, stated RTR promoter T. J. Layne. “This is an incredible deal for all of our Modified racers. For the past two seasons our Modified points battle has came down to the final race and with a new Tomahawk chassis on the line, the 2008 points battle should be even more intense.”
Tomahawk Race Cars won in both the Late Model and Modified divisions at Rocky Top in 2007. Tomahawk builds a very competitive and very safe Late Model and Modified chassis. Some of the regions best drivers such as “Racin” Jason Perry, who finished second in RTR Modified points in 2008, race Tomahawks. Tomahawk Race Cars can be reached at (304)-529-3771.
The Rocky Top Raceway plans on making some important announcements regarding the 2008 schedule, etc. in the upcoming month or so. The Rocky Top Raceway would also like to release a statement saying that there will be no KoM Limited Late Model races at the track in 2008.
