Rocky Top Raceway pushes back “Opening Night” By: T. J. Layne COAL GROVE, OH-With Test N’ Tune being rained out on March 28th and a bad weather forecast for the following week, the Rocky Top Raceway has made the decision to push back “Opening Night”, which was originally set for Friday, April 3rd. Instead, the track will be open on Saturday, April 4th for a Test N’ Tune day. “Opening Night” will now be pushed back to either Friday, April 10th or Friday, April 17th. April 10th was originally scheduled as an off date, but will now be open as a potential “Opening Night” date, depending on weather and other factors. An official date for “Opening Night” will be announced next week and will be posted on the tracks official website and announced at Test N’ Tune. The track will be open on April 4th from 10:00 am through dusk for Test N’ Tune. Drivers from all classes are invited to attend to get some practice laps in before the first race. Admission is $10 and all tickets are good for a pit pass. This will give the fans a great chance to go in the pits and get up close and personal with their favorite drivers and cars at a very reduced price. For more information visit the official Rocky Top Raceway website at www.rockytopraceway.net.
