Opening Night-Chris Stone appeared destined for victory until he caught a rut in turn three with four laps to go and took a wild flip. Tony Sites inherited the lead and took the feature win.
Buckeye Nationals-This was the first $1,000 to win Mod Lite race held at RTR. 33 Mod Lites were in attendance. Great battle for the lead all night long between Pennsylvania's Alan Knepper and Maryland's Tim White. Knepper led the first eight laps while White took the lead on lap nine. After several laps, Knepper mounted a comeback and took the lead with an incredible slide job on lap 23 to take the lead and hold on for the feature win. Also some great racing through the field.

May 22nd-Great race between Randy Armes and Chris Stone. Armes passed Stone on lap nine to hang on and take the feature win. With the win, Armes became the youngest winner in RTR history.
Les Boggs Open Wheel Shootout-This was the second $1,000 to win Mod Lite race held at RTR. In this race, Maryland's Rod Jones held off Tim White and Tracy Fritter in an excellent race.
September 4th-Aaron Pendleton seemed destined for victory. Pendleton led the races first 14 laps and on the white flag lap, had a pretty good sized lead. However, in the middle of turn three, the car slowed, but refired coming off of turn four. This allowed Stone to get up to Pendleton and pass him to win by less than a car length in one of the wildest last corners seen at RTR.
