Eddie Carrier Jr. at the Buckeye Nationals-On the final corner battling with Wayne Chinn for the lead, Carrier nails the guardrail, does a complete 360 in the air, refires the car, and drives across the start/finish line to finish fifth! Boggs goes on two wheels, never looses spot-On an Engines Inc. heat race on May 15th, Jackie Boggs was leading on a lightning fast track and threw his car into turn one. Boggs hit a rut and his car bounced on two wheels, completely on it's side, to the point to where you could see the entire underneath of his racecar. Boggs got out of the gas, let the car back down, jumped back on the gas when the car came down and never lost a spot, keeping the lead the whole time! Boggs won the heat race!
August 14th Modified Feature Finish-Harmon, Kelley, and Robinson are nose to tail coming to the white flag. On the final lap into turn one, Robinson goes up high while Harmon slips up into the middle groove and Kelley Goes down low. They battle THREE WIDE through the turn with high side momentum carrying Robinson to the lead off of turn two! Into turn three, Robinson leads by a car length with Harmon and Kelley side by side. Harmon and Kelley make contact as Robinson comes across the line to take the feature win!
Fouts beats Boggs in his first RTR appearance-August 7th was the first ever race for Brandon Fouts at RTR. Fouts had an incredible race with Boggs and pulled off the major upset to win over the two time RTR track champion.
Tre Martin leaves ballpark on Opening Night-In the Late Model feature, Tre Martin was running the high side and hit the guardrail and rode it to go out of the ballpark! Martin was ok and the car received only minimal damage. A few weeks later, the guardrail in that area was raised.
*Any situation where a driver injury occured was not put on the ballot for wildest moment.*
